Congresswoman Cori Bush doesn't sound like a Congress Member.

Where are the vacuous platitudes? Where is the vague noncommitment? Where is the endless hypocrisy? Why doesn't she send out those standard email replies that leave you knowing less about what she stands for than before your read them?

This is bizarrely clear and committed:

"I was sent to Congress to save lives, I was not sent to Congress to have my constituent’s tax dollars buy bombs to kill thousands of innocent Palestinian men, women, and children."

This is actually supportive of public engagement:

"The majority of people in this country see the humanitarian crisis in Palestine for what it is. Our pro-peace movement is strong and growing stronger every day. Call your representative and demand a #CeasefireNOW"

This is encouraging risktaking for a moral cause:

"I applaud the courageous Muslim and Jewish congressional staffers who led a letter calling for a #CeasefireNOW. I’m aware of the risk you’re taking to stand on the right side of history. I see you. We see you. You are loved, valued & appreciated."

This is leadership:

"I was honored to stand in solidarity with our Jewish siblings today to call for a #CeasefireNOW. Fear will not win. Hate will not win. Love will win. Humanity will win. Peace will win."

Let's make sure that Rep. Cori Bush -- and not AIPAC and other dishonest detractors -- wins. We can support Congresswoman Bush's courage by donating to the campaign to try to keep her in Congress:
