I am reaching out to invite you to participate in Defuse Nuclear War’s January 8-14 Week of Action, Gaza and Beyond: No to Genocide and Nuclear War. It’s not too late to join an event near you and stand in opposition to the ongoing war in Gaza. Across the country, we’ll be demanding an immediate ceasefire and an end to the genocide of Palestinians, and advocating against blank checks for the Israeli military, while also drawing attention to the possibility of longer-term conflict and nuclear proliferation in the Middle East. Events include nonviolent protests, public education outreach, banner drops, phone and text banking, leafleting, in-person petition signature gathering, meetings with elected officials, op-ed writing, and other creative initiatives.  |
