As you all know, Primary Day for New York City voters is this Tuesday (June 24).  

 

I’m watching with excitement from Buffalo. When I ran for mayor in Buffalo in 2021 and shocked the political establishment by winning the Democratic primary, there was a feeling of hope that Buffalo could have a champion for working people as mayor. 

 

I feel that same feeling today. Zohran Mamdani is so close to winning the NYC primary. But we know the establishment will do what it does – punch down on progressives rather than stand up for peace, justice, and the planet. 

 

Do NOT let them do to you what they did to us in Buffalo four years ago. Don’t rest on the momentum, GO OUT and VOTE!! Rank Zohran Mamdani #1. And please text or call five (or ten) friends and relatives – and tell them to go vote, too! This is the chance of a lifetime. I can't wait to celebrate this win together.
