There will be more train wrecks, and more releases of carcinogenic chemicals, unless changes are made. We've been pushing Congress and the Biden administration to take several obvious steps that could have been taken long ago. Other disasters are on their way in slow motion, easier to address than an out-of-control train, but far more damaging if allowed to happen. By failing to adequately address the crises we face, it guarantees that they will become dramatically worse.
