Friend, The U.S. Congress is working toward spending $1 trillion a year on war and war preparations. Three percent of that could end starvation on Earth. A bit over 1% could provide the world with clean water. We need a dramatic shifting of priorities. One thing we could have is something we were promised last election by the man now in the White House: higher education as a right, not a massive burden. We've finally managed to get the College for All Act reintroduced in Congress. Now let's pass it! If your Congress Member tells you there's not enough money, tell them to end some wars!  We'll only get there by organizing and actively demanding what we need. That is why we need to support striking writers and UPS workers if they strike next month.
