There's been another month of slaughter since a study in the Lancet medical journal estimated that far more than 40,000 men, women, and children had been killed in Gaza.(1) In that month, disease and famine have spread, and Netanyahu has worked hard to expand the war to Iran and Lebanon.

How many more will die in the next six months of open genocide, while Israeli officials publicly express their desire to kill millions(2,3), and U.S. mainstream media act as if the world is on hold until a new U.S. president takes office?

The war on Gaza cannot continue without U.S. weapons shipments. A growing number of U.S. groups are demanding that President Biden and Congress end the weapons flow, including the NAACP and seven national labor unions that represent nearly half of all unionized workers in our country.

The U.S. weapons shipments and livestreamed genocide cannot continue without causing horrendous death and suffering, risking an expanded war, poisoning land and water, worsening climate collapse, draining our resources, eroding the rule of law, concentrating wealth, corrupting government, fueling bigotry and hatred, pushing the possibility of peace further out of reach, degrading our culture, and -- yes – impacting even the November election in favor of MAGA by further dividing the majority of Democrats from the party's out-of-touch leadership.
