Dear Friend,

If corporate media outlets had sympathy for the victims of both sides of a war, how would they fit in all the necessary reporting?

Easy! They could leave out all the unverified claims of grotesque atrocities, all the evidence-free placing of blame, all the dehumanizing, all the justifications for bombings, and for depriving populations of food, water, medicine, and electricity.

The question should be: What would they do with all the extra space and hours? They'd almost have to cover something new such as the voices of the peacemakers, or the historic roots of the conflict, or -- and it may sound crazy -- steps that could be taken away from war and toward peace and reconciliation.

There's no need to wait for this miracle. Visit Progressive Hub!
