The people of the state of Maine have voted overwhelmingly to limit the amount of money an individual can give to a Super PAC. While there are serious limits on what an individual can pay to a candidate's campaign, a political action committee called a Super PAC can spend unlimited money promoting a candidate and can take unlimited money from individuals -- or can in most states, but not any longer in Maine.
