We began urging President Biden not to run for reelection 20 months ago, when there was time for an open primary process during our unduly long election. Now that he's finally dropped out, we notice that virtually everyone supports his decision and wishes he'd done it sooner.
It's likely that many in the support-the-president crowd would also support the steps we've been demanding for many months on peace and climate were the President or Congress to take them. Let's make our demands a little louder:
