National corporate media doesn't do a good job of telling you, but there are successes happening at the state level for progressive public policy.

People are managing to persuade their state governments to 

• create nuclear free zones, 
• tax the super wealthy, 
• restore the minimum wage, 
• take down the electoral college,
• make voter registration automatic, 
• end life sentences without parole for those under 21,
• ban slavery, 
• abolish the death penalty, and 
• eliminate super PACs.

We'd like to do even more than we are doing to advance these campaigns in various states, but we can only do what we have the funding for.
