All of these things are on the rise: inequality, wealth concentration, anti-worker politicians, technological replacement of human jobs . . . and workers going on strike to push back and help make the world a better place.

Please sign this petition and add your own comments to it. We will be making good use of it in the days ahead.

If you are on strike to build power for workers, democratize the workplace, and improve the pay and benefits received by yourself and others, we support you. By signing this petition, I commit to writing at least one letter to an editor or making at least one phone call to a news outlet in support of strikers. I will donate what I can afford to the unions at the links provided on this page.

Not only are there organizing campaigns underway at Starbucks, Amazon and Walmart, but workers are striking or threatening to strike at hotels, restaurants, film studios (writers and actors), and UPS.

This is a real opportunity to build power for working people. We can help by encouraging solidarity and doing what we can to demonstrate it. We can also begin thinking, talking, and educating each other about the tool used with some success in years past, known as the general strike. The day we all go on strike, power will shift dramatically away from greedy billionaires.

In our hands is placed a power greater than their hoarded gold
Greater than the might of armies magnified a thousandfold
We can bring to birth a new world from the ashes of the old
For the Union makes us strong
