 The killing continues in Gaza. The weapons shipments from the Biden administration to Israel continue. But there are signs that we're having an impact. The Biden Administration finally got out of the world's way and allowed the United Nations Security Council to vote for a ceasefire in Gaza. Pressure for peace is building. It may help that . . . - officials cannot go anywhere -- not even a $25-million fundraiser with two former and one current presidents -- without protests against genocide;
- another State Department official has resigned in protest;
- the International Court of Justice continues to demand a cessation of the killing;
- over 100 cities in the U.S. have urged a ceasefire (ask your local government to do so here);
- Ireland has intervened in support of the case against Israel at the International Court of Justice (urge other governments to do so here);
- people are flooding Congress with emails opposing the starvation of children (send yours here);
- people are urging Congress Members to organize No votes on more military spending (email yours here);
- Various Congress Members and organizations and this DIY petition are urging accountability for illegal weapons shipments to Israel;
- Voters in state after state (Wisconsin is coming up next) are voting for "uncommitted" or "uninstructed" delegates in the Democratic Presidential primary to indicate their refusal to support genocide;
- Support is flowing to the campaigns of those Congress Members who have done the most for peace, including Summer Lee, Jamaal Bowman, and Cori Bush.
