To Defeat Trump, We Need to "Seed the Vote"

I know what you’re thinking… Yes, we at RootsAction called for an open Democratic Party primary for president beginning way back in 2022. Yes, we continue to call for an end to U.S. funding of massacres in the Middle East, and yes we oppose many Biden-Harris foreign policies. But hear me out…

We are faced with some tough decisions in the next few weeks. Many of the people I love and care for are in no position to take a chance on surviving a second Trump presidency. We are not just talking about the rights of women, immigrants, trans people, etc. We are not just talking about the future of healthcare, education, and the literal Earth.

Here at RootsAction we believe that elections are won (and lost) on the ground, and that Trump and his MAGA movement need to be defeated. That’s why we are excited to continue our partnership with the grassroots, social justice Seed the Vote to provide support to individuals who want to canvass and phone bank in swing states.

With the clock ticking toward election day, we must make sure we are having as many conversations with as many voters as possible to keep a reasonable person in the White House.
