Dear Friend, Here's a benign definition of coup: "A brilliantly executed stratagem; a triumph." Here are a couple of examples:  Abortion Rights Activists Get Another Win In Ohio  States Are Banning Anti-Union "Captive Audience" Meetings Here's another definition of coup: "A coup d'état; unlawful seizure of power from a government." Only Donald Trump's attempted U.S. coup gets much mention in corporate media, but coups promoted by the U.S. or carried out by troops trained by the U.S. are common around the world.
